I would like to thank all of you who came out to support the 8^th Annual Longmont Association of REALTORS Bowling for CARHOF Fundraiser on March 12^th.  We were able to raise $5,334 for the cause this year.  We also had our biggest turn out ever; we had 23 teams or 92 bowlers.  A great time was had by all in attendance.  I would like to thank Don & Frank Angstead at Centennial Lanes for their support this year and in the previous years.  Without their support, this event would not be possible.

As in years past, prizes were given out to the Highest Men’s and Women’s Team Scores.  The top men’s team included Steve Conder, Jeff McKuser, Joe DeMott & Dan Vonalt.  The top women’s team was made up of Dana Schnorr, Janelle Johnson, Shelley Kunselman & Claudia Archuleta.  The prize for each of these teams was $100, which each team graciously donated back to CARHOF.  There was also a prize given out for the best team costume; it was given to Stephanie McKay, Carol Schack, Rose Chamberlain & Craig Gapter.  The after party was once again at the Red Zone at which point many friends and family members who were not able to make the event joined us.

We gave out 65 prizes this year that were donated by both members of LAR and other local companies.  We would like to thank Mark Pepin with Advantage Home Inspection, Rose Chamberlain with Prudential, Luke and Shelley Kunselman with The Kunselman Team, Sandy Pettinger with WR Starkey, Sabrina Lee with WR Starkey, Dana Schnorr with United Title, Angie White with Shelter Insurance, Greg Grandchamp with Bank of American, and Marty Quigley with ERA Herman Group Real Estate.  In addition, we would like to thank all the local companies that also donated prizes: Pinocchios Italian Restaurant, Nicolo’s Pizza, Buzz Coffee, Cartridge World, Ron’s Printing Center, Le Peeps, Massage Envy, Jimmy Johns, Mystic Garden Spa and Salon, Santiago’s, Lillians, Ziggi’s, Sun Rose Café, Chamberlain Coins, Studio Boom, Jesters, Fox Creek Liquors, Lamplighter Dry Cleaners, Martini Bistro, Tenacity Wine Shop, Silvermine Subs, Magic Fairy Candles, Amanda Lujan Massage Therapist, Todd’s Service Carpet Cleaning, Wildly Successful, Momentum Business Coaching, Brooklyn Deli and Wine Shop at Home with Kathy McKean.  The overwhelming support that we receive from our community help to make this such a fun event.

The community of the Longmont Association of REALTORS really is a model of how great a board can be.  It is amazing to see REALTORS and affiliates socializing together in such a great way.  We all seem to understand that we are all in this together and that is what makes us so successful.  You can go ahead and put next year’s party on your calendar for March 11^th.  Thank you again for all your support and I hope everyone that attended had as much fun as I did.
